As western civilization (United Sates, Japan, Western Europe & Canada) enters the 21st century, the pressures of modern times places an enormous psychological stress on individuals, families, interpersonal relations and organizations, many people are unable to
psychologically handle this stress, this inability to deal with this stress often manifests itself as anger.

Anger is a natural response to a perceived threat. It is impossible for us to never get angry. However when our anger gets out of control, it will often result in severe consequences for the person who is angry. In addition it may also impact relations that the angry individual has with others.

Uncontrolled anger may eventually lead to

• Spousal abuse
• Road rage
• Murder (the worst result of uncontrolled anger)
• “Stress”, which may lead to undesirable mental and physical health outcomes( e.g. Depression, hearts)

Individuals who frequently exhibit episodes of uncontrolled anger must learn how to channel this negative attitude into a positive force, here are two important points that people with “ anger management issues” should apply when the feel they may “lash out at someone or
something”

1. Stop and think before acting out on an act of anger
2. Always approach problems in a calm and controlled manner
